The results are in…Cambridge Bears Wrestling Team Passes their First test!
The Cambridge Bears Wrestling Team travelled to Blessed Trinity High School, Roswell on October 20th to participate in their first official GHSA hydration test.
A hydration test is designed to make wrestling fair and safe for all athletes. It takes into consideration each athlete's body fat percentage, height, and weight to determine a safe plan for weight management if necessary.
Since wrestling possesses many characteristics that differentiate it from other high school sports, including organization of competition into weight classes, it has become mandatory for all wrestlers to pass this test prior to competition.
