On Saturday, August 27, the Cambridge boys and girls cross country teams competed in the North Georgia Championships at Lamar Murphy Park in Jefferson, GA.

It was a hot and humid morning but the teams rose to the occasion with the boys and girls varsity both taking a respectable 7th place (170 and 134 points) on a challenging course. The girls and boys JV teams placed 7th and 4th with 140 and 123 points respectively.

The girls top three runners were Lauren Tindle, Anna Filipek and Sanam Rangaraj and the boys top runners were Dillon Shin, Gray Peterson and Francisco Palacios-Rodriguez.

The team's next race will be on September 10th at the Milton XC Invitational.
