The Cambridge Cross Country team is making it mark this season.
The team's first meet of the season was the Bob Blastow Invitational in Douglasville, August 23. The girls' varsity team started it off in a big way by placing first and bringing home the first cross country trophy ever for Cambridge High School.
The girls junior varsity team also did well and placed third. One of the varsity runners for the boys' team, Bjorn Leicher, took ninth place in his race and his time of 16.25 earned him a spot in the top 22 National Elites.
Congratulations Cambridge Bears Cross Country!
