Lady Bears Romp to 8-0 Playoff Win
April 23, 2025 (Atlanta, GA) - The Cambridge Lady Bears opened their 4A playoff journey with an 8-0 win over Southeast Whitfield on Tuesday night.
Scoring started early as the diabolical Reed Tingley took a pass from senior Piper Preiss to the house in the 8th minute. Tingley added 2 more goals for a hat trick.
Tingley's tally of 34 goals breaks the Cambridge single season scoring record.
She's a freshman.
Marauding midfielder Chandler Browning turned in an impressive display, scoring two goals and adding two assists.
Also scoring on Tuesday were junior Maddie Klingenspor, senior Megan Dunn, and Aspyn Stucke with a brace.
Assists were provided by the aforementioned Preiss, diabolical Tingley, marauding Browning, junior Klingenspor, and senior Aspyn Stucke, who was dominant in midfield all match.
Freshman Emma Hunt filled in goal, making six saves and keeping a clean sheet.
Making their first Varsity appearances with impressive debuts were Maggie Shy and Priscilla Lancaster.
The Lady Bears continue their march for a state title on Tuesday, April 29th at Midtown.
