Donnetta D. Pearson brings a wealth of track knowledge from the state of Alabama, Fayetteville, North Carolina and Atlanta, Ga. She believes the Cambridge High track and field athletes will be dedicated, disciplined and determined as they compete this season.
Coach Pearson is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and a graduate of Jackson Olin High School. While in Alabama, she received numerous all-state honors in the 4X100 meters; 4x400 meters; 200 meters and the high jump. Pearson also currently participates in local and state 5k and 10K Charitable Runs and looks forward to having her athletes do the same.
She received a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S) in Therapeutic Recreation from Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama and a Masters in Special Education (M. Ed). She continued her educational studies at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., where she receive a specialist degree in Educational Leadership (Ed. S)
