Title: Varsity Track Asst Coach; Horizontal jumps & sprints

Hi, my name is Reggie Brown, I coach the 400 meters and the Horizontal jumps for Cambridge High School. During my High school athletic career, I broke the state long jump record as a sophomore at
Carrollton High School with a jump of 24’ 9’’. My senior year at Carrollton High, I was an indoor track All-American in the long jump.

In football, I was the #1 rated wide receiver in the Nation. I was a consensus All-American and a USA Today Parade All-American. I then went on to attend the University of Georgia where I ran track and played football. During my
football career in college I was voted Second Team All-SEC my junior year, and First Team All-SEC my senior year. After college, I was the 35th pick of the 2005 NFL draft where I came in 5th for rookie of the year honors for
the Philadelphia Eagles. I played 5 years in the NFL. I have currently been involved with Cambridge High school athletics since 2021, where we have enjoyed prosperous seasons in football and track and field.

Through the years, I’ve throughly enjoyed coaching the athletes from the Cambridge community. It has been a pleasure to have coached State Champions in Track and Field and D1 football athletes of Cambridge. While in high school, I lead our teams to win 2 Track and Field State Championships and 1 Football State Championship.

My goals as a coach are simply to teach our athletes how to access their full potential as an athlete and as a person, so they too may have the pleasure of winning a State Championship.
