School and Personal Records Set!
BEARS BECOMING MENACING: TWO SCHOOL RECORDS SET AND NUMBER OF PERSONAL RECORDS ACHIEVED AT ROSWELL ROTARY RELAYS
 
On Saturday, March 21, the Cambridge track and field team went to Roswell for the Roswell Rotary Relays against more than 25 teams. On a warm day the Bears did not disappoint their faithful and managed to set two school records and a number of personal records. With the Fulton County Championship meet this upcoming Saturday, the team is trending in the right direction.
 
Among the highlights from the Roswell Rotary Relays included the following;
 
GIRLS -
 
Kennedy Williams - finished fourth in the 100 meters (personal record) with the eighth fastest time in school history.
 
Ella Alberici - finished sixth in the 3200 meters.
 
The 4x100 meter relay finished fourth with the fifth fastest time in school history.
 
The distance medley relay team finished fifth in the fourth fastest time in school history 
 
The 4x200 meter relay team finished fifth.
 
The 4x400 meter relay team finished third.
 
The 800 meter sprint medley relay team (Charlotte Brown..Kennedy Williams..Sarai Adeoso..Taylor Lasoff) finished second in a school record time.
 
BOYS
 
Grey Donner - raced to a second place finish in the 3200 meters.
 
Grant Campbell - finished third in the high jump.
 
Dakota Holt-Pledger - finished sixth in the high jump.
 
Andrew Bollenbacher - leaped to a third place finish in the pole vault (personal record) and the fifth best jump in school history.
 
Corbin Phillips - finished eighth in the 100 meters (personal record).
 
The 4x800 meter relay team finished seventh.
 
The 800 meter sprint medley relay team (Gabriel Landsman..Corbin Phillips.. Grant Campbell..Louie Madrid) finished seventh in a school record time.
 
We invite all to come out on Saturday, March 28, as the team hosts the Fulton County Championship at Cambridge High School.
