Cambridge vs. North Atlanta September 2

It was a very quick game Tuesday, September 2nd, as the Lady Bears pounded the ball, getting 17 runs in just 2 innings.

Hits came from nearly every batter, including Lauren Stewart, Taylor Greene, Keara Napoli, Courtney Campbell, Abigail Wilson, Savannah Dixon, Mariah Kubik, Lindsey "Z" Smith, and Becca Cleypool. North Atlanta ended up having only 10 batters get to the plate as half of them struck out and were only able to produce one hit.

The game ended in the top of the 3rd with a run rule and final score of 17-0.

Cambridge vs. Forsyth Central September 4

The Lady Bears took on Forsyth Central for a second time this season and shut out the Bulldogs, but this game was much closer.

In the bottom of the 2nd inning, the Bears got on the board with hits from Abigail Wilson, Savannah Dixon, and Lauren Stewart, making the score 1-0.

The Lady Bears were able to add 1 more run in the bottom of the 4th, as Lauren Stewart doubled, and Taylor Greene and Lily Valeo both got hits, taking the score to 2-0. That is how the game would end as pitcher Keara Napoli threw 16 strikeouts in the game and allowed only one hit.

The Lady Bears remain undefeated in their region and will hit the road again this week, traveling to Kell on Tuesday, September 9th, and Pope on Wednesday, September 10th.
