The Bears Men's Tennis team lost a hard fought match to the Titans of Northview Wednesday, April 17th, to finish as runners up in the 7-AAAAA Region Championship.
Despite tremendous momentum coming off of a thrilling victory over Pope, the Bears could not overcome some outstanding play by Northview and ended up getting closed out in 3 of the 5 matches.
The strong performance during the regular season combined with placing second in the region tournament earn the men's tennis team a #2 seed spot going into the state playoffs. The Bears have their eyes on a bigger prize starting next week in the first round of the state playoffs.
Be sure to come cheer on this outstanding team as it takes to the court Tuesday, April 23, at 4:00 p.m. here at Cambridge. They will host Lakeside-DeKalb in the first round match. Come out and support your Bears' tennis program.
