The Cambridge men's tennis team recorded another win over region opponent Kell 4-1 Wednesday afternoon in very difficult playing conditions.
Michael Feirer won at 1 singles in two sets 6-4, 6-2 on a strong serve and all court game. Carson Harrell won at 2 singles with a dominating 6-1, 6-0 effort.
The 1 doubles team of Brenner Lapid and Zac Hirschler posted a win with scores of 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) two set tie break, coming back in the second set from a 1-5 deficit. Lastly, Grant Hollingsworth and Kez Fitzgerald won in convincing fashion 6-3, 6-1.
The win over Kell brings the men's Bears tennis team to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in the region.
The Bears are away, Thursday, March 7th vs.the Osborne Cardinals. They return home for another region match against Pope on Tuesday, March 12th.
