Cambridge HS Boys Golf team finished 2^nd at the AAAAA Region 7 Championship scoring a 296 (+8) one shot behind Dalton HS (295) last Tuesday, April 19th at Woodmont Golf Club in Canton, GA.

The team was led by Junior Brad Plaziak and Sophomore Andrew Ackerman who each had even par rounds of 72, Senior Austin Redick shot 74 and Junior Robbie Bentley had a 78. Also playing were Freshman Jack Vajda 80, and Senior Sutton Dunwoodie 82.

The team qualified for the State Sectional on May 2^nd at Georgia National. Sixteen teams will vie for eight spots at the State Championship to be held at Bartram Trail in Augusta, GA on May 16^th.
