The Bears Boys Golf team competed in the 7-AAAAA Regional Tournament Monday April 22nd at Eagle Watch County Club in Woodstock.
The Bears could only muster a runner-up finish placing 2nd to Creekview by six strokes. The Bears shot a team score of 325 which earned them a trip to the State Sectionals to try and qualify for the State Championship.
The Bears were led yesterday by Sophomore Ryan Stachler (78), who tied for Individual 3rd Place...and Freshman Austin Redick (81).
Other Bears posting were Juniors Chris Meyer (83) and Thomas Pettigrew (83).
Other scores: Juniors Justin Beard (86) and Evan Goldfuss (86).
The Bears play next in the State Sectional May 6th in Augusta, Ga., where the top 8 out of 16 scores will qualify for the State Championship in Jekyll Island on May 20th.
