Girls Top Rival Alpharetta in Match Play
The Cambridge Bears Girls Golf Team defeated cross town rival Alpharetta 128-134 at White Columns Country Club.
Sophomore Sabrina Long (37) posted the low round for the nine hole match while fellow Sophomores Payton Schanen (42) and Caroline Russell (49) added to the victory.
Boys Bears Take 4th in Two-Man Golden Lion Challenge
The Boys team of Ryan Stachler and Thomas Pettigrew shot a strong 7 under 65 to finish in a tie for 4th out of 36 two-man teams at the Golden Lion Challenge held at Laurel Springs Golf Club (a two-man scramble format). Evan Goldfuss and Chris Meyer shot an even par round of 71 and Justin Beard and Kaelen Golden shot a +4 round of 75.
Regional Golf Tournaments Upcoming for 7-AAAAA
The Golf Teams both continue practice this week for next weeks Region Tournaments.
The Boys team has their Region Tournament Monday April 22nd at Eagle Watch Golf Club, and the Girls play at Bentwater Tuesday April 23rd.
