The Cambridge Varsity Competition Cheerleading Team has great showing for first competition.

The cheerleaders competed at the Cartersville High School Georgia Best Elite Competition Saturday, September 15th. The team placed 5th among the 6 teams in the 5A division.

Coach Allison Chambless says "it was a great job for our first competition ever!."

Cambridge cheerleaders were also busy recently participating in the 5K Tumor Trooper Run which helps in the battle against childhood brain and spinal cord tumors. 5 girls ( Katie Huff, Rachel Davis, Taylor Ramage, Anna Murray, and Hannah Sisson) and 2 coaches (Coach Chambless and Coach Lindsey Stammer) took part in the event. 3 out of 5 girls placed!

11-14 Division: Katie Huff 2nd and Rachel Davis 3rd

15-19 Division: Hannah Sisson 3rd

20-24 Division: Coach Lindsey Stammer 3rd
