Leigh Lynott Popp is joining Cambridge High School as the Women's Varsity Tennis Coach.  She brings six years of experience in the same role along with the Guidance and Counseling Department Chair at Chattahoochee High School. 

Coach Popp graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with a degree in psychology.  While in Athens, she played on both intramural and club tennis teams.  After graduation, Popp moved to Atlanta to pursue a master's degree in school counseling at Georgia State University.

Before that, Popp attended Chattahoochee High School and played competitive tennis tournaments at the state and regional levels throughout high school and was a member of two state championship tennis teams.

A Duluth, Georgia native, Coach Popp continues to enjoy competitive tennis in the Atlanta area playing at the AA level through ALTA, and also plays USTA and T2 tennis.
