Peter Vajda will be the Varsity Men's Head Golf Coach at Cambridge High School.  Vajda has spent the past five years at Milton High School where he held the same position as well as other coaching jobs. He has been an assistant coach for Varsity Women's basketball and has helped coached freshman, JV and Varsity Boy's basketball.

Vajda's has an extensive background with more than 15 years in sports marketing, including Tournament Director of a Senior PGA Tour event in Florida.  He has also been involved in the management of many professional sporting events including the Buick Classic on the PGA Tour, Pro-Beach Volleyball, World Cup Soccer, WTA Tennis, and the National Hockey League.

Coach Vajda's golf accomplishments include qualifying and playing in the Florida Amateur, Florida Mid-Amateur, US Mid-Amateur, Georgia Match Play Championship and a two-time club championship at Woodmont Golf Club in Canton, GA.

Vajda attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.  He also played basketball in the Commonwealth Coast Conference and later transferred to the University of New Hampshire at Plymouth where he played football and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Health.  Vajda has a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix.

He is married to Annie, who is a teacher in Cherokee County.  They have two boys.
