Cambridge Football Midnight Growl set for this Tuesday evening, July 31st
(Milton, GA) It will be a night to remember in Cambridge history.
The clock will strike midnight Wednesday as the stadium shines its first light on Cambridge football. The brand new high school may be behind all established football programs, but the Bears will be the first team in Georgia to start preparing for the inaugural 2012 season. The first official football practice will take place under the stadium lights at Cambridge High School Tuesday evening.
Head Football Coach Craig Bennett says the Bears are excited about the first-annual Midnight Growl and are hoping for a good turnout from students, families, City of Milton residents, and football fans from North Fulton. The entire Cambridge community is invited to gather at the new stadium Tuesday evening and usher in a new era of high school football when the clock reaches midnight.

It is a chance for the public to get a first look at the new stadium which will open August 13th. It will also be an opportunity to see the first Bears football team in action. Coach Bennett is anxious to work out his new team, which has enjoyed surprisingly high registration numbers from players.

Don't miss the chance to watch the Bears hit the gridiron under the illuminated night sky. The gates will open Tuesday evening at 11:00 p.m., and the lights will come on for the first time right at midnight.
